Shipping policy

All products displayed on our online store are available to ship to most locations within New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, and major cities in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, and Alberta.

  • Orders to remote or rural areas may be cancelled as we cannot guarantee delivery times for product quality and freshness.
  • We ship from Monday to Wednesday (Thursday in local areas) to ensure your product arrives prior to the weekend.
  • If there is a shipping delay, contact us at contactus@truenorthseafood.com with your name and order number, and we will advise the proper procedures.

Shipments may be left by the courier at your home. If this occurs, it is your responsibility to promptly retrieve the order to refrigerate or freeze your product. If possible, we recommend shipping to a location where someone will be able to receive your order immediately.

ENSURING QUALITY

Our seafood shipments are generally packaged, shipped, and received within 24 to 72 hours. Each seafood shipment contains a TTI temperature sensor so you can be confident in the quality of your order.

  • If the TTI is green or yellow, temperature has not been lost and you are safe to consume, refrigerate, or refreeze.
  • If the TTI is orange or red, please contact us at contactus@truenorthseafood.com with your name and order number.

Please note consuming raw seafood is at your own risk. We always recommend that you cook any food to prevent those risks. Using it for sushi, sashimi, or raw oysters should only be done if trained properly.

INVENTORY

Fresh seafood inventory can be impacted by many factors and there may be a discrepancy between the website listing and our actual inventory. If you place an order for a product we don't have in our facility, you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss alternate options or to receive a refund on out-of-stock items.

REFUND POLICY

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contactus@truenorthseafood.com with your name and order number. When applicable, we may replace your order or provide a refund on a case-by-case basis.
