We start with super fresh, naturally raised Atlantic salmon fillets and then dry-cure them in a custom kosher salt and brown sugar we’ve spent years perfecting. After curing, our salmon is smoked the right way—naturally, with natural hardwood chips, until it has just the right amount of smoky flavor.

I have cold smoked salmon regularly, and I have had just about every brand on the eastern seaboard. This is by far the absolute best cold smoked salmon, and very consistent in taste and quality.
I find the smoked salmon is a bit too salty for my liking, compare to other brands.

I like smoked salmon. I particularly liked the smoked salmon that I received (True North Seafood Co) at Christmas as a gift from a friend. So I ordered some for myself in March. It arrived promptly. I was surprised that the salmon was branded Willy Krupps Salmon. If I had wanted Willy Krupps I would have ordered it from Willie. There was no mention of Willie Krupps in the True North online store. So , as I said , I like smoked salmon..and wether it is Willie's or True North, I suppose it should make no difference. In my opinion; however, the willie Krupps Salmon I received in March is saltier than the salmon I received for Christmas. Still ok but saltier.
